Who, What, Where

This is a great weekend for so many reasons, but mostly because I come from a place of every weekend being great. It started with a bang at Zoo Atlanta with my family. So much fun. I was already planning to take a leisurely excursion there in a few weeks, so when my mom suggested going yesterday -- her timing was perfect. A good time was had by all. And that's how I most enjoy kicking back -- with few plans and low key spontaneity. This weekend, however, I actually do have a few places I'm looking forward to being. If you're in Atlanta, maybe I'll see you around. If you're not, I've got you covered. Meet you back here for all the details.
What:
Giving a few hours of my time for a good cause.
The American Diabetes Association's Victory Over Diabetes 2010 will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park. The program includes free health screenings, exciting workshops & keynote speakers, door prizes, lunch, exhibitors, exercise demonstrations and a special talk by singer Angie Stone about her experience with the disease.
Where:
Every August, I look forward to attending the Bronner Brothers (mid-summer) International Hair Show and it's finally here. I can stock up on my favorite products and beauty finds. If you've never been, you're definitely missing a treat.
Who:
