When you're a social butterfly, invitations to events will frequently take you straight from your work day to after hours about town. No need to fret. Consider a few of my picks for daytime to downtime essentials and you'll be ready for whatever arises.

Can you talk a little more about balancing that transition? I see some adorable fashion statements at work, but unfortunately I feel like many of them are for the club! What's the balance?
ReplyDeleteAll of these pieces could be a nice standout with other less flashy pieces. The necklace could liven up a basic solid colored blouse or even tee. The shoes could go with a black or navy dress with tights, and the blouse would be fantastic with wide leg slacks or a black suit and pearls. The trench, of course, would be appropriate with a suit, little black dress or jeans. In any of these scenarios, you could take them straight to dinner or special event after work.

ReplyDeleteThere is not one piece that I wouldnt care to NOT have in my closet. It is so interesting how you described that leopard print bootie as a "statement" piece when I am currently working on statement pieces for jewelry as a vendor. You just affirmed my "hobby" venture. Thanks Katrice!!
