The Fall Fix with Femme Luxe
October 31, 2019
It's always fun for me to freshen up my closet at the beginning of warm and cool weather seasons with a couple of pieces that add some flare to my staple favorites. During the fall, I live in oversized cardigans, leather leggings, high-waist jeans and blazers because my motivation revolves around warmth and functional style. But, I do love the thought of adding more tunics and jumpsuits to my rotation as I find them quintessentially stylish. So, I'm excited to have had the opportunity to choose a few items from Femme Luxe for the fall.
While browsing the brand's offerings, I really thought about items that I would want to wear a lot without hesitation whether hanging out with friends or as I'm embarking upon adventure in my career.
Femme Luxe is known for its fast-fashion appeal of trendy new styles to choose from weekly. The influencer-inspired fashion brand has everything from dresses to coordinates, loungewear and jeans, and you won't break the bank on any of it.
Check out my Femme Luxe picks and let me know what you think.
Oversized Sweatshirt Dress
Because the fall and much of the winter in the south rarely gets cool enough for more than a jacket, I have a ton of sweatshirts that I dress up and down. The super loungey Camel Oversized Sweater Mini Dress (Ola) was an easy pick for me. I'm happy that it looks and fits exactly like it did on the model. It's soft and actually has enough weight to it that I'm sure I'll be able to wear it alone or with a fur vest and be comfortable.

Metallic Bodysuit
Tank tops are my jam but they're rarely dressy enough for anything beyond leisure. I opt for a smart bodysuit before a blouse most of the time. So, this Silver Metallic Plunge Wrap Bodysuit (Elsa) was an immediate yes for me. As soon as I put it on, I could imagine several looks and occasions that it would be perfect for. The only thing I'd change is that it could use a bit more spandex for a more compressed feel in the midsection. But, I'll handle the need for that with more intensity in my ab workout. Ha!
Velvet Loungewear Set
I somehow missed the fact that my stomach would be exposed when I chose the Grey Velvet Wide Leg Loungewear Set (Ava). Is there an age limit for crop tops??? (I kid.) But, it will be comfy for lounging because I am almost positive I won't be walking around outside of my house with my navel peeking out. We'll see though because the set is so soft and comfortable on that it will be getting plenty of wear for sure.
